Bachelor / Master thesis

If you are a student of CIS at the LMU, then there are fixed deadlines for the thesis. Please check out the MaiNLP page for more details. If you would like to discuss a topic beforehand, feel free to reach out earlier. If you are a student of another study course at LMU (e.g. computer science) or at TUM, please reach out directly.

PhD

Currently, there are no open PhD postions.

In autumn, there is usually a call for PhD students with the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML). Successfull candidates will be matched with groups and PIs from the MCML at LMU und TU Munich (including our group). The last call can be found here. If you have any questions regarding the process, feel free to reach out.

Post-Doc

There are currently no open post-doc positions. However, there are interesting funding programs like the Walter Benjamin program by DFG, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship by the EU or the Branco Weiss Fellowship that allow for independent research and where we might be able to support you in the application.
